Jaldapara

Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas and covers an area of around 216 square kilometers. The sanctuary is known for its vast grasslands, dense forests, and the picturesque Torsa River that flows through it. Jaldapara is particularly famous for its population of Indian one-horned rhinoceros. It is one of the few places in India where you can find these majestic creatures.

Gorumara

Gorumara National Park is situated in the Dooars region of West Bengal, covering an area of approximately 80 square kilometers. The park is named after the Gorumara River, which flows through the area. Gorumara is famous for its diverse flora and fauna, including the Indian rhinoceros, Indian elephants, Indian bison (gaurs), deer species like spotted deer and sambar, and various bird species. One of the main attractions in Gorumara is the watchtower, from where visitors can witness the wildlife in their natural habitat and also enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings. Elephant safaris and jeep safaris are popular activities in the park, offering visitors an opportunity to explore its wilderness and spot wildlife up close.

Day 2

Wake up early and embark on an exciting jeep safari in the Gorumara National Park. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including Indian rhinoceros, Indian elephants, bison, deer, and various bird species. Day 4

Wake up early and proceed for an exciting elephant safari in the Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary. Jaldapara is famous for its population of Indian one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, Indian elephants, and various other wildlife species.
